Events and
Activities
Club sponsored
activities and events
include American Kennel Club
(AKC) licensed Obedience,
Rally and
Agility trials, and
licensed Tracking Dog,
Tracking Dog Excellent and Variable Surface Tracking tests. HOT holds
Obedience, Rally and Agility Show 'n Go's as well as AKC
Canine Good Citizen®
tests throughout the year. Seminars, workshops and clinics in obedience,
rally and tracking are offered to help prepare our club members and students
to compete with their dogs.
HOT has also
hosted NAFA Flyball Tournaments and was one of the first groups in Houston to
have a Flyball team.

Cost: $80 for both
days; $45 for one day (includes lunch, snacks and beverages)
Please note:
although these seminars meet the requirements for AKC Judge's
Continuing Education, they are not limited to Judges only. All
prospective judges and exhibitors are welcome to attend.
There will be a Rally
Show 'n Go on Sunday afternoon following the seminar. Seminar
registration includes one free run at the Show 'n Go. Additional
runs will be $3.00 each. Non-attendees may enter for $5.00 per
run.
