Club Information
The Houston Obedience Training Dog Club is a working organization, whose members participate in a wide variety of club activities including training classes, AKC Trials, seminars, CGC tests, show 'n go's, public dog obedience demonstrations, stewarding , and fundraisers to support dog-related charities. We also get together to socialize whether it's after class for coffee or at our annual Halloween & Christmas parties, summer picnic and Awards banquet. Our members are busy earning titles at conformation shows, obedience and rally trials, tracking tests, agility events, hunt tests and field trials, barn hunts, nosework trials, herding tests and trials, earth dog tests, water dog trials, dock dog tournaments and flyball, drafting and lure coursing events. The HOT Dog Club conducts Puppy and Dog Obedience, Rally, Agility, and Tracking training classes for the general public and their members. Using positive and motivational methods, highly qualified instructors teach you how to train your own dog or puppy. Invest in obedience training and help your pet become a true companion. In addition to our classes, HOT sponsors many events, such as AKC Obedience and Rally Trials, three levels of AKC Tracking Tests, AKC and CPE Agility Trials and offers seminars, show 'n go’s, and workshops of interest to the dog community. The facility and agility field are available for rent to individuals and other dog organizations. We would like to invite anyone interested in the H.O.T.
